Maternal Sires

The maternal sire lines available through Innovis have been developed especially to meet the individual needs and requirements of the modern sheep farmer.

Innovis Aberdale® and Aberfield®

Our Aberdale and Aberfield rams produce exceptional crossbred ewe lambs that offer commercial lamb producers the ability to maintain or increase production outputs from prolific ewes that are capable of rearing twins off grass.

Aberdale - High-end sustainability and efficiency

Aberfield – Well-bodied, efficient and high quality

Innovis Abertex®

Our Abertex rams combine maternal and carcass traits. They can produce high quality finished lambs on hill/upland terrain as well as maximizing the benefits of easy lambing for prime lamb production in a lowland farm environment.

Abertex – a versatile and hardy sire.

The Highlander

Underpinned by the Focus Genetics breeding programme in New Zealand the Highlander is a composite ram bred for efficiency and productivity. Available in the UK only through Innovis.

Highlander – An excellent option for closed flocks
