Sheep Breeding Team

Our breeding team manage our main nucleus flocks based in Aberystwyth as well as work alongside our breeding partner flocks located throughout the UK. They are an experienced and dedicated team working tirelessly to deliver high quality, reliable and efficient breeding rams. 

Janet Roden   Leading Geneticist

Kim Hay          Geneticist

Our geneticist, Dr Janet Roden, has 30 years experience in the development and application of genetic improvement strategies in sheep and cattle. Throughout her career she has been involved with research and development projects providing strategic guidance for the sheep industry.  New for 2018, Janet is joined by Kim, a graduate of the renowned MSc program in quanititative genetics at Edinburgh University.

Izzy Willison  Innovis Consultant Veterinarian

The Innovis Veterinarian, Izzy Willison, qualified as a vet from Massey University, Palmerston North in 2010 and has worked as a Mixed Practice Vet in New Zealand and the UK, also spending time studying for an MBA in France.
