Scottish Sales – Revised Dates and Locations

Due to the Temporary Control Zone now in place across South West Scotland, we have made the difficult decision to postpone both of our Scottish sales.

The planned Lockerbie Sale will now take place with the team at H&H in Carlisle on Monday 14th September, with viewing from 12pm and the sale commencing at 1:30pm.

The Stirling Sale will now take place with the team at Caledonian Marts on Tuesday 15th September, with viewing from 1:30pm and the sale commencing at 3pm.

These changes to the sale dates and locations mean that, subject to the current restrictions on movements into Scotland being lifted as planned on 10th September, all rams offered through these sales will be able to move freely between England and Scotland. We also hope that, as we move into the autumn months, the risk of BTV transmission will reduce further, providing greater confidence around the movement of stock.

To reiterate, all of the rams on offer across both sales have been vaccinated against BTV in June.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these changes and believe the revised arrangements provide the best opportunity to proceed with the sales while reducing the risks associated with BTV.
