Technical Sales Advisor – Wales

Innovis is looking for a dynamic individual to develop the Innovis brand, maintain valuable customer relationships and drive new sales of rams and breeding stock in Wales.

Innovis is looking for a dynamic individual to develop the Innovis brand, maintain valuable customer relationships and drive new sales of rams and breeding stock in Wales. The role requires a self-motivated confident person with good communication skills. A good attention to detail for administration of the sales/credit and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database activity will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders in Wales.
- Selling of rams through direct selling and through Innovis ram sales and delivery of rams as required
- Answering client enquiries, via phone, email, social media or farm visits
- Managing a client database for the region (using CRM system)
- Assist the head office staff with marketing with developing the annual marketing plan and contribution to social media posts
- Driving awareness through farmer meetings and student talks/discussions
- To arrange and attend shows as arranged pre-season
- Attendance at sales meetings in person or via video link
- Assistance with regional breeding partners as required
Key Skills:
- Professional attitude with good communication
- Commercial acumen, preferably with sales experience
- Sheep farming background
- Systems literacy – ability to manage the CRM system for the Region
- Can-do attitude, team player.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable
Terms of Employment:
The role is permanent, but full or part-time applications will be considered. The role requires increased hours during the main sheep sale season (July – Nov) but provides the flexibility for reduced hours during quieter months.
Extensive travelling throughout Wales will be required during the peak work period. A pool vehicle is provided for all work-related travel. Towing and transport of animals will be an essential part of the role.
The renumeration package can be adjusted subject to experience and finding the right person.
