INNOVIS CHEVIOT

HARDY, DUAL PURPOSE HILL RAMS

Innovis Cheviots will suit your system if you:

  • Want a hill ram that will hold condition and live
  • Want to produce hardy replacement females, bred to perform on hill ground
  • Want a more robust ewe with longevity
  • Want to produce quality lambs in a hill environment

Innovis North Country Hill (Lairg) Cheviots are bred at Southfield, our nucleus farm and are registered with the North Country Cheviot Society. The North County flock are evaluated as one population with the our other two flocks of South Country Cheviots with link rams used to ensure connectivity.

Ram Grade: Commercial, Select, Elite

All rams will be vaccinated against Bluetongue before the end of June, making sure your investment is protected and fertility won’t be impacted.

A member of the Technical Sales Team will be in touch with you to arrange the delivery of your ram/s to your farm. If you have any further questions regarding delivery please call 01970 828236.

Innovis will guarantee the performance of all rams sold at its official sales for the first mating season after purchase, provided that the owner can demonstrate that they have made reasonable efforts to ensure the health, welfare and security of the ram during that period.

Anny issues post sale must be raised prior to 1st February after the year of purchase and accompanied by appropriate evidence/supporting documentation in addition to a veterinary report where applicable. In the event that a ram is found to be defective, a replacement ram of equivalent genetic potential will be supplied. A credit note for the value of the ram may be issued against the buyers next purchase if the replacement is not available. No cash refunds are given.
