Marketing Assistant
Part time (22-25 hrs/week) – fixed term (3 years)
Based in Aberystwyth
Innovis is seeking a well-organised, dynamic, and versatile individual with good communication and computer literacy skills to play a key role in supporting the marketing and administration of ProHill, a group of forward-thinking sheep breeders.
Based in our Aberystwyth Centre, the role will encompass the coordination of marketing activity through various channels and support material for the ProHill ram sale and events throughout the UK as well as supporting Innovis marketing activities.
Reporting to Marketing & Communications Manager, the successful candidate will work alongside the ProHill group and the Innovis team to:
- Implement and coordinate the various aspects of the marketing plan including further development.
- Manage and schedule content throughout the year on digital marketing channels to include Facebook and Instagram.
- Manage content on the ProHill webiste.
- Working with a PR consultant to plan case study material for marketing.
- Organise and book industry shows and events.
- Coordinate trade stand displays and prepare material for shows and events.
- Attend shows and events throughout the UK as required.
- Preparation of marketing material, newsletters, and open days.
- Preparation of ram sale catalogues.
- Administrate membership and finances for the ProHill group with assistance from the Marketing & Communications Manager.
- Organise regular meetings with the ProHill committee.
- Build and maintain a relationship with the ProHill committee and wider group.
- Be part of the Innovis Marketing and Comms team to support with wider marketing and sales activities.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A commercial acumen and an interest/flair in marketing.
- Good organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good emotional intelligence (EQ) to deal effectively with customers, stakeholders, & colleagues.
- Experience of agriculture and sheep farming is desirable.
- A full clean driving license.
- Ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable.
The post will at times involve some travel throughout Wales and the UK between May and September. Flexible working hours will be considered.
The salary will be based on experience and a 4% contribution to the Company’s Stakeholder Pension Scheme after 3-months work. A pool car is provided for all work-related travel.
