Sample Collection for Sheep Genotyping
All of our sheep genotyping tests including Scrapie Check™, Shepherd®, MyoMAX®, LoinMAX® and i-SCAN® are now available on FTA cards.
The new blood spot sample collection is a simple procedure which producers can do themselves. You do not need to get a vet to do the sampling - which saves you money. The amount of blood required is only small and can be taken by pricking the muzzle of the animal.
